What’s the terms of use with a promotion at Bravo Telecom?

Term of use : SECTION 7 – PROMOTION(S)

The customer who takes a Bravo Telecom subscription related to a promotion must respect the clauses of purchase (and / or rental and deposit – if applicable.)

Customers who have subscribed and have acknowledged and accepted the conditions related to any promotion: must also respect these same conditions when they are terminated.

As a result, if the customer had been able to take advantage of a promotional equipment rental policy and a refundable deposit, the latter also agreed to return the rented hardware in good condition within 15 days following the request for termination.

In the event that the customer wants to take advantage of a new promotion in progress: he/she agrees to return the material to be able to take full advantage of this new promotion. And that by agreeing to adhere to this new offer: it losesany benefit related to the previous promotion and can not in any case return to this old promotion – whatever it is – if it has already expired.

The customer also understands that the term “free installation” clearly specifies a free service activation fee by Bravo Telecom.

Can I sign up by phone?

Yes, Bravo Telecom has three subscription ways: by phone, online and by store.

Can I rent or buy a modem with Bravo Telecom?

For cable and hybrid fiber plans: modem rental is not available. The customer can purchase his modem in two (2) ways: One full payment at the time of the subscription or on multiple equal predefined installments in addition to his monthly billing. The first installment will be made the day of the order. And the second the day of the installation.

For FTTN packages 7M to 15M: you can purchase the modem / router for $ 49.95. And for FTTN 25M and above, you can get the modem for $ 69.95. Rental is not offered for this type of technology.

Can I use my own modem or router with your internet services?

Yes, some routers are accepted by Bravo Telecom, depending on theirs speeds.

Unfortunately, we do not accept any other type of modem than our own for cable packages.

Can I rent or buy a router with Bravo Telecom?

Cable internet and/or hybrid fiber: No you cannot rent the router. You can bring your own router. Contact one of our agents to make sure your router matches the desired usage. The customer can purchase his router in two (2) ways: One full payment at the time of the subscription or on multiple equal predefined installments in addition to his monthly billing. The first installment will be automatically withdrawn when ordering. The second installment will be taken on the day that the services are installed.

I was a Videotron client and I received a bill from them after the termination of my Videotron services, what should I do?

Please send us the bill in question and we will make the necessary investigations, a response will be provided within 48 hours.

I am currently using the old payment method for my semiannual/annual subscription Will this affect my billing?

The new payment method came into force on the October 2016. If you are currently using this payment method, the new billing system will be effective on your next payment, if following this date.

What does an annual subscription imply?

When ordering, if the customer opts for an annual subscription, he will have to pay for a 12-month internet service in one payment. He will then benefit of an additional month of free service.

What does a semi-annual subscription imply?

When ordering, if the customer opts for a semi-annual subscription, he will have to pay for a six-month internet service in one payment. He will then benefit of an additional 15 free days of service.

I just finalized my order and would like to change it. How do I do this?

No problem! First of all, you need to have on hand your email order confirmation.It contains among other things some information as your account number (ACC), your name and the company phone number.

I have a small home business. Can I still have access to your broadband service?

Do you provide fixed IP address service?

No.

Can we get additional email addresses?

At the moment, we do not offer custom email addresses. We advise you to use free email address providers such as Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo.

In case of an address change, how long will it take to be connected at my new house?

All new addresses connections take 10 to 15 days. This is why; it is strongly advised to notify us of your move at least 15 days in advance in order to avoid any service interruption.

Do you provide an internet service for business?

My annual/biannual subscription expires in a week, what should I do?

Generally, our billing department will send you an email extension just before the end of your term. Otherwise please contact our billing department at 514-227-4647

Besides the starter fees, do I have any other fees to pay when I subscribe with you?

When you subscribe with our company, you will have to pay the application and the activation fees.Some conditions may apply.

For example, the application fee doesn’t apply with our cable plans. The activation fee for this same technology is $ 49.95.

Do you have different types of installation and delivery at Bravo Telecom?

Yes, we do. :

  • The first is to pick up your equipment directly at our offices. Thereafter, a technician will install the necessary power cable and network cable at your home. This offer is free.
  • The second option is to have the equipment shipped to your home. Afterward, a technician will come to set up the necessary power cable and network cable. This offer is only $10.
  • The last option is the full installation. Only available for the residents on Montreal city. For only $30 : Get a full installation service.This includes the delivery of your equipment and a full installation by one of our technicians.

Upon termination, is there a fee to pay or a minimum contract period to comply with?

No, you just have to send a cancellation email to sac@bravotelecom.com; mentioning your name, account number, and the termination date.
The services with Bravo Telecom has no minimum contract period commitment, you can cancel whenever you want.

I will travel for two or three months, is it possible to suspend my service ?

You can request a seasonal suspension for a minimum of 2 months, with a 50% payment of your monthly invoice.

Can I order online?

Yes, absolutely! Bravo Telecom has made available a very user-friendly web interface. It is comprised of three easy steps:
