[1] INTERNET SERVICE

Network or technology: Bravo Telecom’s Internet service combines fibre optic and coaxial cable. The service is available where access or technology permits. Certain conditions apply.

Speed: The advertised speed of the Internet plan corresponds to the theoretical maximum speed. Actual speed varies and depends on several factors including the router, technical configuration, the number and type of wired and wireless devices used by the customer, personal usage, environment, Internet traffic, the server accessed, simultaneous use of the television service (if applicable), and other factors.

Equipment conditions: The use of a modem not provided by Bravo Telecom is not permitted in order to ensure uniform service quality. The use of a personal router is allowed. However, technical support is not provided for the customer’s personal equipment.

[2] TELEVISION SERVICE

Network or technology: Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service in high-definition broadcast. Requires a Bravo Telecom Internet subscription with a minimum speed of 60 Mbps. The service is exclusively reserved for residential customers. Business or commercial customers are not eligible for this service.

Programming: Content offerings may be modified at any time.

Equipment conditions: The customer may use their own Google TV or Fire TV certified device. The customer may purchase one or more Google TV set-top boxes from Bravo Telecom.

[3] PHONE SERVICE

Network or technology: Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service. Requires an active Internet connection. The customer may choose a new phone number or opt to transfer their existing number, subject to approval from their previous provider. The service is available where access or technology permits.

Minutes: Unlimited local calls within the coverage area of the assigned number. Long-distance calls include calls made outside the assigned number’s area to Canada and the United States (excluding the Caribbean).

Equipment conditions: The purchase of the telephone adapter provided by Bravo Telecom is required to ensure uniform service quality.

[4] INSTALLATION

Remote activation of Internet, television, and telephone services is provided at no charge to all eligible residential customers. Activation includes remote configuration or, where necessary, installation of the coaxial cable connection by a network carrier technician.

Full turnkey installation is available within the Greater Montréal area at a fee of $49 (plus applicable taxes). This service includes:

– An on-site visit by a Bravo Telecom technician;

– Full service activation;

– Complete installation and configuration of all Internet, television, and telephone equipment included in the Customer’s plan.

Installation dates provided to the Customer are estimates only and are subject to technician availability and network access constraints. Bravo Telecom will notify the Customer of any material change in scheduling.

[5] DELIVERY

The customer may pick up equipment at no charge at the Bravo Telecom store located at 6001 Jean-Talon Street East, Montreal, H1S 1M5.

Equipment shipped via Canada Post is typically received within 48 business hours in urban areas and within 72 business hours in rural areas following the order. Additional delays may apply during holiday periods.

[6] WARRANTY
On services

The customer benefits from a 15-day warranty on Internet, phone, and television services. During this period, the customer may cancel their subscription and obtain a full refund, provided that the equipment is returned in “like new” condition, in the original packaging, with all components included. Damaged or incomplete equipment may not be eligible for a refund.

In the event of cancellation after the 15-day warranty period, Bravo Telecom will refund on a prorated basis for the service used. Equipment sold is non-refundable.

On purchased or rented equipment

If equipment purchased from Bravo Telecom has a manufacturing defect, the customer must notify Bravo Telecom upon discovery and before the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply if the equipment is defective or damaged due to an accident, force majeure, unauthorized modification, misuse, or abuse.

Warranty start date: Date of equipment activation, or date of purchase if activation occurs more than 30 days after purchase.

Minimum warranty duration: 1 year for new TP-Link Deco Mesh M4, TP-Link WiFi 6 routers, and the Mecool KM7 Plus TV box. 3 months for any other new or refurbished equipment, unless the manufacturer offers a longer warranty period.

Replacement: In the event of a defect covered by the warranty, Bravo Telecom may replace the equipment with new or refurbished equipment, identical or with comparable features, in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.

[7] OTHER CONDITIONS

Bravo Telecom’s services are available where access or technology permits. All prices shown are before taxes. Applicable taxes will be added to the billing. Your Questions About Our Residential Phone Service

Can I get a home phone service without a credit history in Quebec (e.g., newcomer, student)?

Absolutely. This is one of our biggest advantages: we do not run credit checks and we do not require a security deposit to activate your service.

Does the home phone work without internet or during a power outage?

Our service is VoIP/IP, so it requires a stable internet connection and a phone adapter (ATA). During a power or internet outage, the phone and 911 service may be unavailable. We recommend having a backup solution (like a mobile phone or a battery backup/UPS for your router and ATA).

Can I keep my current phone number (from Bell, Videotron, Fizz, etc.) and how long does it take?

Yes, in most cases, we can port your existing local number to Bravo Telecom. The transfer process typically takes 5 business days once the request is validated. (Keep your old service active until the transfer is complete).

What are the options for cheap international calls (e.g., Maghreb, Latin America, Europe)?

We offer affordable long-distance plans and minute-blocks for international calling. Check the rates for your frequently called countries (e.g., Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Mexico, Colombia, France) and consider an unlimited Canada/USA plan if you often call within North America.

How does installation work in an apartment or student dorm?

It's usually a simple self-installation. We provide an ATA adapter. You just plug the ATA into your internet router and then plug your regular home phone (or cordless base) into the ATA. No technician is typically needed if your internet is already working.

Are there installation or equipment fees to get started?

At Bravo Telecom, residential installation is free. The equipment (the telephone adapter) is provided as a free rental, often with no deposit required under certain conditions. If you cancel after the trial period, fees for returning the equipment may apply.
