[2] Starter Kit:

Upon subscription, the customer must choose the payment method for the starter kit.

The starter kit includes the free rental of the modem, basic router and telephone adapter. The rest of the equipment can be purchased if needed.

Payment is made according to the customer’s preference:

  • When subscribing, in one payment.
  • In several monthly payments: in 2 or 3 payments.

In the case of a payment in several monthly installments, the customer will be charged a first monthly payment when subscribing to the service. The second and third monthly payments will be taken when billing the subscribed service.

[3] Satisfaction period:

Customers receive a 15 days warranty. If the customer is not satisfied, he must notify Bravo Telecom via customer service by telephone or in the shop.

The customer will then have 15 days to return the equipment and get a full refund.

This full refund will be made within 15 days after receipt of the equipment, provided that the equipment is functional.

In case of cancellation of the service after the 15 day guarantee period, Bravo Telecom charges the amount due for the starter kit.

Fees Details

Bravo Telecom offers free installation.

We offer a complete installation, with a technician’s trip, for a fee of $ 30.

In order to guarantee a similar quality for all our customers, the use of an external modem to Bravo Telecom is not allowed.

The purchase of the equipment is possible in one payment or in several payments, which will be added to the monthly withdrawals.

The use of an external router to Bravo Telecom is possible, but technical support is not offered for the customer’s personal equipment.

A guarantee of service is offered for 15 days after the subscription of the service. In the event of termination within this warranty period, all fees collected will be refunded, except the shipping costs of the equipment if concerned.

In the case of a cancellation after the 15 days guarantee, the remaining monthly payments related to the equipment will be deducted in a single payment.

In the event of a cancellation during the 15-day guarantee period, Bravo Telecom will refund the costs once the equipment is received, within 15 days.

However, customers who want to keep the equipment (excluding rental equipment) will be able to pay the amount due for the starter kit.

In the case of a payment in several installments, the customer will be charged a first monthly payment when subscribing to the service. The second and third monthly payments will be taken when billing the subscribed service.

Satisfied or your money back policy

If the customer is not satisfied with our services, he will have 15 days after his installation to start the cancellation process. All the fees will be refunded, except the $9.95 for the opening of a customer file (only for packages charging this fee).

Some restrictions may apply. The new payment method for semiannual and annual subscriptions can be changed or extended without notice.

Activation fees paid during the subscription.

The warranty excludes:

The delivery costs of the equipment.

To be entitled to a refund, the customer has a period of 15 days to return the equipment, and this from the date of notification of the cancellation of or services.

The warranty is only applicable if the customer service or technical support does not come in any case to help the customer within 15 days of installation.

The full refund will be made within 15 days after the date of receipt of the equipment, provided that the equipment is functional.

If the customer pays their starter kit in several installments, two options are available:

The customer wishes to return the equipment: in this case, Bravo Telecom will proceed to the reimbursement as indicated above;

The customer wants to keep the equipment: in this case, Bravo Telecom will collect the amount due, in one payment.

This guarantee is only valid for the first 15 days of service.

Your Questions About Our Residential Phone Service

Can I get a home phone service without a credit history in Quebec (e.g., newcomer, student)?

Absolutely. This is one of our biggest advantages: we do not run credit checks and we do not require a security deposit to activate your service.

Does the home phone work without internet or during a power outage?

Our service is VoIP/IP, so it requires a stable internet connection and a phone adapter (ATA). During a power or internet outage, the phone and 911 service may be unavailable. We recommend having a backup solution (like a mobile phone or a battery backup/UPS for your router and ATA).

Can I keep my current phone number (from Bell, Videotron, Fizz, etc.) and how long does it take?

Yes, in most cases, we can port your existing local number to Bravo Telecom. The transfer process typically takes 5 business days once the request is validated. (Keep your old service active until the transfer is complete).

What are the options for cheap international calls (e.g., Maghreb, Latin America, Europe)?

We offer affordable long-distance plans and minute-blocks for international calling. Check the rates for your frequently called countries (e.g., Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Mexico, Colombia, France) and consider an unlimited Canada/USA plan if you often call within North America.

How does installation work in an apartment or student dorm?

It's usually a simple self-installation. We provide an ATA adapter. You just plug the ATA into your internet router and then plug your regular home phone (or cordless base) into the ATA. No technician is typically needed if your internet is already working.

Are there installation or equipment fees to get started?

At Bravo Telecom, residential installation is free. The equipment (the telephone adapter) is provided as a free rental, often with no deposit required under certain conditions. If you cancel after the trial period, fees for returning the equipment may apply.
